Her pranks were hilarious, and I loved how she became almost a little sister to Gunner and Romeo. I loved her personality, her ability to take the mean and cruel words thrown at her by Arlo, but also to stand up and fight back. Greer, I could relate to her in wanting to make a mark in her first job out of college. But as his past was explained, things began to make more sense, and I loved his friendship with the boys, but also his relationship with his sister Cora as they both learnt from their childhood and realised how they could become happier in their future. He But for someone so intelligent, he could be so completely clueless. He was dirty and sinful, his language was downright filthy, and I adored every second. But she brings out a side of him even he didn’t know he had, a softer and more intimate, ready to make a change to become the person she wants to spend the rest of her life with. He truly doesn’t know what to do, she’s a threat to his way of life, the straight and narrow, organised and efficient.
He is so set in his ways, it’s his way or not all, and when Greer comes into his life, it turns everything he’s ever known upside down. But when they actually opened up and began to let each other in, it was so clear how they were meant to be.Īrlo must be Meghan’s moodiest and uptight character yet. They could push each other’s buttons perfectly, knowing exactly how to wind the other up to reach boiling point. The chemistry between Arlo and Greer was through the roof, but at times it felt a lot more like hate than love. What will Mr Turns Me On do? As they are in close proximity, sharing a classroom wall, every day, and as Greer is welcomed into their friendship group, so begins this dance of hate, lust and attraction. From the start, he’s been against hiring Greer, first for her teaching way and second, because she actually makes him feel something. Fresh out of college, she’s excited to put her different techniques to the test on her high school students, but Arlo Turner, head of department and resident moody arse has something to say about it. Greer is the new English teacher, and has some less than conventional ways of teaching. She’s written an unputdownable book, one which had me wanting to devour it as fast as possible, but also savour the slow burn relationship between Arlo and Greer.
